Louis grew up in Hackney, London, and trained at Rose Bruford College on the BA Acting course. As a voice actor, his commercial and corporate work includes campaigns for Canon, Qatar Airways, Instagram, and FIFA. He has voiced over 30 audiobooks, including Katya Balen’s The Light in Everything, Josh Silver’s Traumaland, multiple books in the LEGO Ninjago series, and played Piers Polkiss in Audible’s full-cast Harry Potter series. His ADR credits include Paddington in Peru, Say Nothing (Disney+), and Half Bad (Netflix). His work also includes children’s audio for Yoto and Toniebox, and extensive ELT projects. Outside the booth, Louis is the Carnegie Medal-nominated author of Let the Light In and an actor of stage and screen. A review of his recent one-man show, A Thousand Times Smaller, noted that, “Hill’s great gift is his voice”.
